flash unit on a lesh - hack

do U need rlly rlly oryginal parts?that cost a lot of money? well..  i don't think so..
Let's try to buy the cheapest flash unit.. hmmm looks like sunpak is rlly cheap and it have ttl2 light measure system! awsome! ..ok so ordered a model for canon.. nice.. now, when we have it, we can see its moving in 2d! wooow... but its only 45degress of movement and we need something more.. so.. let's upgrade it .. a lot :

we will need a fax cable, yes it will be rlly nice, becouse of ttl2 got 6pin connection, so normal telephone cable will not be able to use ;/ I found some on junk that was about 15years old hahaha..

 first let's connect all cables with ..

 It should look like this :

 remmember to use some pretty nice tape to isolate each cable connection..
..then just plug it in and check if everything is working for now..

 Looks like still working, Great!

 now it's time to take care of safety, its such a prototype now, we need some armour for this.. the easiest and safest way is to use some hot glue.. i dont like pistols so i am using a piece of wire and candle to melt it nice..(and make it black)

 after each aromouring- its safe to check if its still working..
sometimes its rlly bad situation when u cracked something and u will have to waste some time again.. so ye better check ..

haha and i forgotten to put a wheel back, but its not so important until u are not making photos of hurricane or something else that can plug cable out unexpectable...

So in the end it looks like this ! ;) preety nice, for me. What unlucky i was to not have a black cable, well its not important so much, it's working just fine ;)
